The new developments in the country and especially in the region make it clear that democratic processes must be deepened further, on the basis of strong institutions and the rule of law. Within this framework, the Democratic Party responsibly faces its tasks of governance, international integration, and the political representation of broad layers of society. The Third National Congress of the Democratic Party demonstrated that its strength lies in unity, experience, and the inclusion of younger generations. It became an open tribune of political thought and discussion of alternatives for the future of the country. In this context, the congress confirmed the fundamental orientations of its program, support for the market economy, private property, the rule of law, and Euro-Atlantic integration. The challenges ahead require determination, renewal, and cohesion. It is precisely in this spirit that the congress represents an important step toward strengthening the structures, broadening participation, and increasing citizens' trust in the Democratic Party.

The Third National Congress of the PDSH concluded its work Vote of confidence for the coming victory Two single words stirred the hearts of the decision-making hall of this Congress: victory and future. The election at the head (and this one too) with clear and balanced motivation, with the involvement of all the party structures, makes this congress not only a broad democratic tribune, but also a testimony to its political maturity. The election of the Chairman of the Party, Prof. Dr. Tritan Shehu, as well as of the governing bodies, marks a new phase for the PDSH. Its forces enter this stage with a clearer program, a more consolidated team, and greater confidence in victory in the coming elections. In the closing remarks and in the atmosphere of the Congress, it was emphasized that the Democratic Party continues to remain the main force of democratic change in Albania.
